About
Austin Fields, originally from Texas, has consistently explored concepts of light, space, reflection and abstraction in her work as a fine artist, photographer, and glassblower. She received her BFA in Glass & Sculpture from UTA in 2017 and has since relocated to Los Angeles where she is working as a glass artist and maker.
Working freely and quickly she sculpts hot glass using a fluid and organic approach. Her works emulate the naturally occurring curves of the human body, while stitching inspiration from landscapes, lightscapes and dreamscapes.
Austin is featured in multiple galleries across the country spanning from Portland to Virginia. Her work is currently on display at the Sarasota Art Museum, Dallas Museum of Art Gallery & installed at many private residences around the world. Austin’s technical and sculptural capabilities extend beyond object and into the realm of installations for custom interior landscapes.
